Good morning everyone!  Hope you are all having a great Monday!  I know it's going to be a long week - and a hot week if you're from my area of the world.  Just keep thinking about the weekend and it will be here soon enough!

I was checking my email this morning, and on the front page of Yahoo I see an article about cats, dogs & babies that sparked my interest.  It's all about a study that is trying to prove that owning a dog or cat can make your baby healthier.  I thought this was interesting because animals do carry germs of course.  I never thought that the germs that they carry could boost an immune system naturally.  I'm not sure if I believe this or not, I'd need to see more studies done.  I did think it was interesting enough to post about though.

I have never allowed animals to lick my baby, just because they do clean themselves & I'd like to keep those germs away.  This article alone won't change my mind, but it is good food for thought!  I'd like to think just by having animals in my house that I'm helping my baby be healthier.  Of course, a healthy child also requires a good diet, exercise, lots of interaction, and so many other things.  But wouldn't it be nice if your little dog or cat was helping your baby just by being in the same house?  What do you think about this?

Do you have a dog that's afraid of thunder?  How about fireworks?  If so, you've got a pretty common issue going on with your pup.  Most dogs & cats dislike loud noises.  They have sensitive ears, and they aren't used to such loud noises.  Sometimes, like children, being held & cuddled can help calm their fears.  That's why the invention of the Thundershirt is so amazing.  I just heard about it for the first time this weekend, and I love the idea.  The shirt is snug, and it prevents a sense of comfort for your pet in times of a bad storm, or during loud fireworks.

Our Fetch Corporate facebook page posted this story yesterday, and I just thought it was amazing.  As a cat lover & cat owner myself, I was so proud of this brave little guy!  This kitty was born with backward legs.  They didn't think he would live, but he has persevered!  He had a life changing surgery, and now can act just like every other cat!  Other cat lovers must read this story ~ it's heartwarming.  ♥

Lost pets are always a devastating thing for a family to deal with.  We are always open to helping local families find their missing pets.  We have been on the lookout the last few months for Bella, a black lab, who escaped from her harness leaving the vet's office.  Her family misses her terribly!  She has been sighted often in the Bethel Park area, so Bethel Park friends, please report sightings!  Here is Bella's photo, and a link to her "Bring Bella Home" facebook page.  You can find more information there on what to do if you see her!  Thank you!
