Greetings! The Hello Bully Halfway House is a private facility located north of Pittsburgh, PA. Here, homeless Pit Bulls are cared for until their forever families are found. Our kennels transition into a multitude of real life rooms where dogs are taught important life skills and just how to be a happy and well-adjusted dog! Our facility is completely volunteer run and operates on the generosity of our donors. Your support is needed. We can't do it without you. Celebrate your pets, or honor those no longer with us by buying a personalized brick. These bricks will pave a walkway at the Hello Bully Halfway House. Our dogs will walk these bricks when they arrive, on all of the days when they are with us (going for walks, playing in the play yard, attending training classes, promoting our mission in the community), and finally as we wish them well as they leave us for their forever homes. We are so excited for you to be a part of their journey! Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty ♥

Anyone else love singing to their pets?  I think sometimes my cats would rather I don't sing. =-)  But of course I still do it anyways.  The first time I heard "Soft Kitty" on Big Bang Theory I was totally obsessed with it.  I've been singing it to my cats ever since!  I was so excited when I saw this picture - had to share with everyone!  I saw it on Pinterest, and then again on icanhascheezburger.com!

Man's Best Friend!

You hear the saying "man's best friend", and you automatically think of dogs.  This is for good reason!  I personally think of dogs and cats, because my cats are my best friends too!  After reading this story in the news this week, I just kept thinking about how this dog truly is his owners best friend.  It's such an amazing story, it really shows how pets love their owners, and vice versa!

June is National Adopt-A-Pet Month!

June is National Pet Adoption month!  There's no better time to adopt a new friend for your family.  There's plenty of shelters out there with lots of dogs, cats, rabbits and more, looking for forever homes.  I have been a shelter volunteer for many years, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a pet excited to have a new owner, and vice versa. 

During the month of June, Animal Friends in Pittsburgh is waiving their $75 cat adoption fee, so this is the perfect time to come check out their cat area.  I have two cats that I adopted, and it was the best decision I've ever made.  They are my best fluffy little friends. ♥
